Mike Witsman starts his first year as the men's soccer assistant coach at BenU Springfield. Witsman just spent the past three seasons as a starting midfielder for the Bulldogs. Witsman ended his career last year with three goals and four assists, starting in 31 of 39 games for the Bulldogs. Witsman was part of the 2012 team that made their first appearance in the American Midwest Conference Tournament. 

Witsman's primary responsibilities will include goalkeeper training and assisting in recruiting and fundamental skills. Witsman works full-time with Prudential Insurance and currently resides in Springfield, Ill.
